Oh!SixSeven in new, capable hands

We have some exciting news to share! Chanté Nell will be taking over the Oh!SixSeven newspaper starting from April 2024, ensuring its continued service to the 067 valley.

Chanté brings with her a wealth of experience in the media industry, in addition to many years of running her own recycling business in Grootfontein.

She will build upon the foundations established for this community newspaper, which has been a pioneer for the northeastern and north-central regions of Namibia.

To our loyal clients, we trust that you will continue to support this venture!

Taking the initiative

Oh!SixSeven was conceived in June 2022 as an initiative to promote and share the stories of the #067valley. The idea is to provide a platform for OUR businesses, OUR people, and OUR news.

If we don't tell our stories, then who will? There exists a gap in the coverage of prominent local media and newspapers, often overlooking us - the rest of Namibia. We matter too!

The 067-valley encompasses the areas of Otjiwarongo, Tsumeb, Otavi, Grootfontein, Outjo, the Etosha National Park, Waterberg Plateau Park, Epupa, Kamanjab, Khorixas, and Kalkfeld.

This region is estimated to be home to about 200,000 inhabitants and is often regarded as the heart of agricultural production - housing the maize triangle and being one of the primary cattle-producing areas. The 067-valley significantly contributes to feeding Namibia - in a substantial manner!
